ANN ARBOR, Mich.U.S. Census Director Robert M. Groves will brief the media, students, and the general public on the status of the 2010 Census at the University of Michigan on Friday, July 16, at 9:00 a.m. ET.
Groves, who directed the U-M Survey Research Center at the Institute for Social Research (ISR) until he was tapped to head the U.S. Census Bureau last year, will provide the latest information on the progress of the 2010 Census and how the Census Bureau will measure its quality.
After his talk, "The 2010 Census: How will we know how good it is?" there will be an opportunity for questions, followed by a media availability.
The talk, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the auditorium of the U-M Museum of Art, 525 S. State St., Ann Arbor, MI 48109-1354.
