ANN ARBOR—Experts in social welfare policy will discuss the results of the landmark 1996 welfare reform law, its impact on the poor in America, and the future of welfare with the reauthorization in 2001 in a public debate at 4 p.m. Sept. 7 in Anderson Room D, Michigan Union.
