U-M president to discuss innovation challenges in science and technology at the National Press Club

EVENT : University of Michigan President Mary Sue Coleman will speak to the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

She will discuss innovation challenges in the United States, with specific examples focusing on embryonic stem cell research and the University of Michigan’s groundbreaking partnership with Google to digitize 7 million books from the U-M Library.

Her talk will be titled,” Not Your Father’s Space Race: Helping America Compete Through Collaboration.”
