EVENT: “Finding Michigan’s Mojo: What will it take for Michigan to be an entrepreneurial powerhouse again?” – a town hall meeting to explore the future of entrepreneurship in the state of Michigan.

The conversation will focus on Michigan’s entrepreneurial roots and whether the state is on track to return to them. The event is a companion to an article in Michigan Engineer magazine. It will be moderated by Michigan Radio’s Cynthia Canty, host of Stateside. The town hall will be webcast and you can follow or join the dialogue on Twitter at #MichMojo.

Panelists are:

  • Mike Finney, president and CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corp.
  • Dug Song, U-M alum and founder of Ann Arbor-based cybersecurity startup Duo Security
  • Jeff DeGraff, U-M alum, creator of the Innovatrium and a clinical professor of business administration at the Ross School of Business
  • Patti Glaza, U-M alum and vice president and managing director of Invest Detroit, which supports economic and community development in underserved communities in the city
  • Bob Cell, U-M alum and entrepreneur who has led companies in both the Bay Area and Ann Arbor
