DATE: 5-6:30 p.m. Monday, April 9
EVENT: Roger Harrabin: Climate Change?
Harrabin, the BBC's senior environmental reporter and a Knight-Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan, will discuss his 25 years of reporting on the environment and energy in a highly entertaining and unorthodox presentation.
His talk is free and open to the public.
Harrabin will talk about the world leaders he's upset—including Al Gore, Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair—and will address how the BBC has wrestled with impartiality on environmental issues. His presentation includes TV reports from around the world and reveals the story of "the donkey, the glacier and Viagra."
PLACE: Rackham Amphitheater, Rackham School of Graduate Studies, 915 E. Washington St., Ann Arbor
