Final move-out date is May 1 for U-M residence halls
ANN ARBOR, Mich.—The final move-out date for residents of University of Michigan's residence halls is May 1. The halls close at 11 a.m., and residents must vacate the halls by that time.
University Housing officials expect some disruption and inconvenience because of construction work at the School of Public Health.
Besides interrupting traffic flow, the construction has eliminated some parking spaces normally available near residence halls and the U-M Medical Center.
The University and University Housing are working closely with the City of Ann Arbor and Ann Arbor police and fire departments to make the move-out as smooth as possible.
